Centro de Alabanza y Renovación Espiritual
CARE stands for our full name in Spanish — a centre of worship and spiritual renewal. Renewal is not just a word on the sign; it is what we believe God does with a life that draws near to Him.
Our vision
To renew and equip people to reach their full potential, being transformed into the image of Christ.
In practice that means two things. Everyone who walks through the door matters, wherever they come from and whatever they bring with them. And we are not content to have you sit at the back: we want you to grow, find your place, and serve with what God has put in you.
Our story
The church began in 1997, when Pastor Sandra Díaz started gathering a small group of Hispanic families in Cape Coral. At the time there was very little in Spanish in this part of southwest Florida.
Nearly thirty years later we are still here on Del Prado Boulevard, meeting twice a week all year round. We have been a 501(c)(3) non-profit since 2004, and every service is recorded for anyone who could not make it.
Over the years the congregation became bilingual, which is why we offer live English translation at every service — so a whole family can worship together even when they do not all speak the same language at home.
